Teaching
Applied Computational Fluid Dynamics for Nuclear Engineering
응용 원자력 전산유체해석
Graduate3 creditsElective major
A graduate course on the theory and application of computational fluid dynamics in nuclear engineering. It starts from the governing equations, numerical methods, turbulence modeling, and verification and validation, then turns to where CFD actually earns its place in the field: reactor design and safety analysis, fuel performance, thermal-hydraulics, and system-level simulation.
By the end of this course
- 01Understand the principles of computational fluid dynamics that apply to nuclear engineering problems.
- 02Use CFD software competently to model fluid flow and heat transfer in nuclear systems.
- 03Understand where CFD is applied in the field: reactor design and safety analysis, fuel performance, thermal-hydraulics, and system-level simulation.
