Privacy Policy

This English text is a courtesy translation. The Korean version is the authoritative one.

1. Collection and use of personal data

This website does not collect personal data from visitors. There is no sign-up, no login, and no contact form, and we use no visitor analytics or advertising trackers.

Enquiries reach the lab through the main email address published on this site. Whatever the sender writes in that message is used solely to answer the enquiry and is deleted without delay once that purpose is served.

2. What we publish about lab members

To keep exposure of members' personal data to a minimum, we follow these rules.

  • A student member's photograph is published only with that member's consent, and is taken down without delay on request.
  • We do not publish students' email addresses, telephone numbers, student numbers, dates of birth, or home addresses.
  • Only the lab's main email address and main telephone number are listed; no personal mobile numbers appear.
  • For members who have left, we record only the sector they moved into — never a company or university name — and only with their consent.
  • Any member who wants published information corrected or removed may ask by email, and we act on the request without delay.

3. Cookies and automatically collected data

This website sets no cookies to identify visitors. Videos on the Media page send no request to YouTube until a visitor presses play, and playback uses the no-tracking-cookie domain (youtube-nocookie.com).

The hosting service the site is deployed on (Vercel) and the web-font provider may, in the course of serving the site, generate standard web server access logs containing the connecting IP address, browser type, and similar data. These are processed only for operating and securing the service, and the lab does not use them to identify individuals.

4. External links

This site links out to external sites — paper DOIs, scholarly profiles, and university and department pages. Personal data handling on a linked site is governed by that site's own policy, for which the lab is not responsible.

5. Data protection officer

For questions about published information, or to request a correction or removal, please contact:

  • Responsible unit: THINKLAB (SMR Innovative Design Laboratory)
  • Role: the principal investigator
  • Affiliation: Department of Nuclear Engineering, Hanyang University
  • Contact: the lab's main email address (see above)

6. Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy will be announced on this website.
